The reason why cars don't start well in winter
Assuming that the battery power (output) is 100% at room temperature (25 degrees) and the power required to start the engine is 100%, the battery power is lowered to 63% at 0 degrees, and the power required to start the engine is 165%.
In a word, you have to exert about three times as much power as you do in your best condition.
